'Cafe Diego' by Backbone Branding : Art and Illustration : Soccer Bible

A little while ago we stumbled across a little known place that was being created under the name of Cafe Diego. A little further down the line and Backbone Branding have revitalised the approach with god-like style to match.

Inspired by one of Argentina's footballing greats the brand has developed in beautiful fashion. From sketch work to branded brilliance, it champions that of a global icon. Embellished across many a mug, the brand resonates throughout. Vivid colour and a burst of energy, somewhat reflective of the infamous figurehead, Mr Maradona.



A colour palette that brings a dynamic approach to this project, it has been well crafted by Backbone Branding. The cafe itself designed to live and breath in Abu Dhabi, it's about retaining that spirit as well as capturing that soul. The essence of footballing brilliance, transferred into a home of well delivered dining. It's nothing short of tasty, a little different to this previous instalment too.



Both of appreciated worth but by heck, you've got to love the punch the sketches hold. A story beautifully well told with design the undercurrent of awesomeness. Those bottles look wrapped in style, put ours on ice.
