adidas ACE 16+ TKRZ "Black/Solar Green" : Football Boots : Soccer Bible

The ACE 16+ TKRZ stands alone in the football boot market - adidas exploited a gap that they saw in football on artificial surfaces and created a boot that's designed to keep the ball under control.

It's an oddity and time will tell whether it can hold its own but the the TKRZ is unique and on first impressions serves a purpose. The second colourway to land on the silo is a "Core Black/Solar Green" wrap, which replaces the "Black/Shock Pink" debut edition that launched in November.



Six small studs are strategically placed on the sole of the boot for extra grip on artificial surfaces that than of a standard turf sole as the TKRZ aims to fulfill that feeling of playing in boots rather than trainers. A 'TKRZ CTRL/FRAME' delivers the agility and quick feet that the small-sided game demands - offering added grip in key parts of contact with the ball, which is extended around the soleplate for increased ball feel when rolling your foot over the ball.
